Let's go!
๐ Two Notable Auctions Creating a Buzz
1. 1986 Ford RS200 Evolution
๐บ๐ธ US Auction. Bring A Trailer
I couldnโt resist sharing this one. Up for grabs is a rare 1986 Ford RS200 Evolution - one of a mere 140 originally crafted for World Rally Championship homologation, and even more notably, one of just 24 Evolutions.
Once passing through the hands of racing aficionado Terry Hoyle, this turbocharged powerhouse boasts a 2.1-liter Cosworth paired with a versatile five-speed transaxle.
With only around 370 miles on its speedo, this white-hued beauty seamlessly melds raw rally pedigree with Ghia's sophisticated styling.
From its alluring Diamond White fiberglass shell to the red cloth racing seats, and the prowess of its three limited-slip differentials, it's a homage to a time when rally cars weren't just cars, they were legends on wheels ๐๐ฅ
At the time of sending this email, the high bid sits at $176,000 with nine days remaining.
2. 1996 Dutton Marina 1.8L Twin-Jet Amphibious Car
๐ฌ๐ง UK Auction. Car and Classic
Prefer something out of the ordinary? Hereโs one that really caught my eye ๐.
Dive into the eccentric charm of the 1996 Dutton Marina Amphibious Car, a beloved relic from the imaginative mind of Tim Dutton.
With only 12,926 miles to its name, the Marina showcases a brilliant 90s blend of blue and orange, flanked by an impressive twin-jet propulsion system for aquatic escapades.
It's a rare tribute to Dutton's innovative legacy, boasting recent mechanical tune-ups, an interior crafted for resilience, and that unmistakable retro vibe that promises head-turns both on tarmac and tide.
For collectors of the unique and obscure, this amphibious car is the quintessential splash of nostalgia.
At the time of sending this email, the high bid sits at ยฃ18,500 with four days remaining.

A flurry of activity in August and September has seen values climbing, particularly after two examples of the sought-after Rennsport Reunion Edition sold in September.

๐ฃ Back to the Barn: A DeLorean Time Capsule Discovered
A well-preserved DeLorean, the legendary car iconic for its role in the "Back to the Future" film series, has been found in a Wisconsin barn after sitting untouched for nearly 20 years.
This vintage vehicle, dating back to 1981, boasts all its original parts and has only clocked 977 miles.
Michael McElhattan, owner of DeLorean Midwest, a car restoration company in Illinois, was tipped off about this hidden gem by a call from New Mexico.
Upon visiting the barn, McElhattan and his team found the car in surprisingly good condition, despite signs of a mouse invasion and the impact of many long years in storage.
Impressed by its preservation, McElhattan is eager to restore the DeLorean to its former splendor.
